I am pleased to share some exciting news regarding TLC (Guyana) Inc.
Luigi Rota has been appointed as our new TLC Guyana Inc. Country Manager and started on May 1st 2021.
Luigi has held various management positions in South and North America and has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in both the international freight forwarding and oil&gas industries. He is also very familiar with the country, having conducted several logistics studies in Guyana during the past couple of years.
I am convinced that Luigi’s experience and expertise will greatly benefit TLC Guyana Inc. as well as our portfolio of customers.

Mathieu Guiraud, former TLC Guyana Inc. Country Manager, has terminated his 2-year assignment in country. We are grateful for the work provided and we wish him all the best for his future work endeavours.
Emiliano Antille, Operations Manager, is currently ensuring the smooth transition and will relocate to Trinidad, as Country Manager, as soon as conditions allow. Emiliano will have the regional responsibility for the Caribbean and South America, as well as a close tie with the USA.

In Houston, we have created the position of Regional Sales Manager and are pleased to welcome Jerry Diaz on board. Jerry has more than 20 years of experience in the international freight forwarding for the oil&gas industry and was until recently Global Key Account Manager for a major driller within the Pentagon Houston team. Jerry Diaz will reinforce the exclusive alliance signed with Pentagon Freight Services in November 2020, as well as support the TLC Group sales activities in the Caribbean, South America, without forgetting Africa.

In 2019, TLC was awarded by SBM the contract for the importation formalities in Guyana of the very first FPSO in the Guyanese history, the Liza Destiny.
In 2021, SBM renewed their confidence to TLC to handle the importation of the second FPSO, the Liza Unity, which is due to arrive at the end of August 2021. The project services encompass shipping agency & helideck inspection (authorization / certificate / license), FPSO Import formalities & inward clearance as well as inward & outward clearance of the support vessels
In March 2021, TLC managed the inward and outward clearances of the VLCC MT Sea Garnet and also cleared the exportation of the 1’000’000 barrels of crude oil, with destination India.
TLC Guyana Inc is more than ever ready to support clients and the Guyanese economy. The majority of our staff is Guyanese and all of our subcontractors are 100% Guyanese owned and operated. We have a strategic plan to continue to employ and train more Guyanese as our service offering and client base continue to develop.
