Dear Client, Dear Business Partner,
Please be informed that the “Ministère du Commerce, de l’Artisanat et de la Promotion des PME” in Ivory Coast has released the decree N° 2017-567 relative to order and pre-shipment compliance verification program for goods to be imported into Ivory Coast. As per the latest information available, the entry into force has now been postponed to 16 July 2018 (Date of B/L).
Note that oil&gas and mining equipment are not concerned by this decree, among other exceptions.
All imported goods whose FOB value equals or exceed XOF 1’000’000 are concerned.
Four (4) organisations are entitled to perform the verification and issue the Certificate of Comformity (CoC) prior to shipment:
Certificate of Conformity (CoC) will be required for the customs clearance formalities.
