Please be informed as follows regarding the Ebola Pandemic in West Africa:
The Ministry of National Security of Equatorial Guinea has decided on 15 August 2014 to suspend the port calls of ships sailing from/to East, West and Southern African Countries. However, specific processes have been put in place since then in order to allow vessel activities. Also note that the Chief Immigration Officer in Luba advised on 25 August that movements of crew inbound/outbound whether crew were coming from offshore Equatorial Guinea or outside Equatorial Guinea were not allowed in Luba.
The OPRAG (Offices des Ports et Rades du Gabon) has decided on 14 August to suspend the calls in Gabon of ships sailing from Liberia, Conakry Guinea, Sierra Leone and Nigeria. As of 27 August, Crew Changes are no longer allowed neither.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided on 20 August to suspend the calls in the Pointe-Noire Port of ships sailing from Liberia, Conakry Guinea, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
