TLC Ivory Coast – launching ceremony of the Nansen Scientific Program

Yesterday, on the 7th of May, TLC Ivory Coast took part in the launching ceremony of the Nansen scientific program in Ivory Coast.

As the appointed shipping agent, through our historical partner Wilhelmsen Port Services, for the vessel R/V Dr. Fridtjof Nansen, TLC Ivory Coast is privileged to play a role in advancing this significant scientific endeavor. Scheduled from 05/09 to 21/05, the campaign will conduct a comprehensive study in Ivorian waters before extending its reach to Ghana.

Present at the event were notable figures including the MIRAH, the Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources of Côte d’Ivoire, the FAO representative, and the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development of Ghana. Their presence underscores the regional importance of this initiative.

Despite encountering operational challenges, #TLCIvoryCoast is grateful for the support of all involved authorities throughout the operation.
